NEWARK, Del.—Supercritical Fluid Technologies (SuperCriticalFluids.com) introduced the SFT-2000 Supercritical Fluid Extraction (SFE) System.  This mid-scale SFE has been designed for the demanding needs of the research chemist and process engineer. Standard configurations allow for two vessels up to 1 liter in capacity each or a single vessel as large as 2 liters. A custom version of the SFT-2000 may be equipped with a vessel as large as 5 liters. The larger vessels are ideal for extracting very low levels of key components and processing large amounts of bulk material in a short time.
